Executive Director's Message

Dear Valued Members and Education Professionals,

It is my privilege to welcome you to the Northwest RESA, an organization dedicated to strengthening our educational community through high quality professional development and meaningful collaboration.  We believe that the strongest educational outcomes emerge when professionals work together, sharing insights, resources, and best practices.  Our organization serves as a vital hub where members can connect, collaborate and build lasting professional relationships that benefit not only individual careers but entire educational communities.  

Education is an ever-evolving field, and we are committed to ensuring our members have access to cutting-edge professional learning opportunities.  Through workshops, seminars, conferences, job alike meetings,and ongoing educational initiatives, we provide the support and resources necessary for continuous professional growth and excellence.  

We promote communication between our member organizations and key stakeholders, including the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, the North Carolina State Board of Education, the North Carolina General Assembly and various Professional Education Associations.  This role allows us to advocate for our members’ needs while ensuring that important policy developments and opportunities reach those who need them most.

Workshops are offered for administrators, counselors, and teachers on a variety of topics. These topics can be requested by the NWRESA Board of Directors, council members, and teachers based on regional needs.
